Black Scozzesse

A dark charcoal grey with a fine crosshatch running through it — vertical and horizontal at once, so close to woven that the eye reads fabric before it reads stone. Flecks of white and pale grey scatter across the surface at random, small enough to register as texture rather than pattern. It behaves like a solid color from a distance and only reveals the weave up close.
